Yup.
It was THAT bad.
I'm surprised I even showed this photo to you all.
To make matters worse . . . we don't have a coat closet in our house (uhhh, can you tell?!). Nope. Nada. NOTHING. No place to stash our parkas, scarves, mittens, bags, and other random stuff. And with our annual New Year's Eve party coming up . . . I wanted to make the best of what we DO have for our guests. And, yeah, for us as well.
Here's another (extremely embarrassing) before shot:
So what exactly did we do to spiff up this area? You'll just have to wait and see! I'll give you one hint, though: Real men let their partners paint rooms purple(-ish). And the result isn't as girly as you might think . . .
