Weekend Scenes

Saturday morning started with a 5K hike through a nearby park (where Stephen's been doing a ton of trail/snowshoe running lately). The conditions were great because Stephen had already created a path . . . and the snow had a nice layer of ice on it. Much better traction than the last time we used our snowshoes.
When we arrived, we found only fellow Subaru drivers were crazy enough to hike in freezing rain.
We quickly set off on the yellow trail . . .
We forded streams and conquered steep inclines . . .
I cleared off a stump, put down my camera, and set the self-timer for some two-of-us shots . . .
Stephen was ahead of me most of the time . . .
At the end, we started climbing stuff and hanging from other stuff . . .
Stretched out with some yoga . . .
Snapped a few parting shots . . .
We'll definitely go back again sometime soon . . .
Definitely . . .
